The coverage under this insurance extends globally without any territorial limitations for all patent attorneys and lawyers practicing within the office. This extended international coverage includes regions beyond geographical Europe, such as Turkey, and states within the former Soviet Union, including Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Furthermore, it goes beyond the standard coverage prescribed by § 45a of the Patentanwaltsordnung (PatAnwO) and § 51a of the Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO) to encompass advisory services and activities involving non-European rights, as well as representation and legal proceedings before non-European courts.
